Originally found in Ethiopia, Wushwush is a low-yield, rare variety coffee beans.
Wushwush, is a small area in southwest Ethiopia where this beans where founded.
Today, it can be found in Costa Rica central Valley, where the altitude and fertile growing conditions support the fruitier, delicate, and floral cup profiles that consumers expect from these rarer varieties.
The beans are all so different and really small generally denser, meaning that the sugars develop further during the roast. Ultimately, this means sweeter and more complex flavor profiles in the cup.
Tropical accents, sweet with flavors of date, tabaco, walnut and cherries.
The exclusive red honey process at hacienda RUVA and the 4800ft altitude plantation gives to our Wushwush bean variety an exclusive and luxurious coffee.
